2014 Gossamer Gear Mariposa Backpack

This past year I’ve fallen in love with the Gossamer Gear Gorilla Backpack. It’s a pack with a fantastic blend of lightweight comforts and rugged toughness.

Today Gossamer Gear announced the launch of their new Mariposa Backpack, which is a pack with a slightly larger design. The Mariposa has been around for years and it’s the most popular pack design in Gossamer Gear’s arsenal of lightweight backpacking products. It’s an ultralight pack that can carry more gear and heavier loads comfortably.

I haven’t had a chance to test out the new Mariposa yet, but I’ve had a lot of experience with GG products, including the 2012 Mariposa Pack. Though I can’t put my stamp of approval on this pack until I take it into the field, I can assure you that it’s worth a look.
