The following email came in this morning from a caring mother doing lightweight backpacking research for her son. It reminded me of how much I love my own mother and how wonderful mothers are in general.

My son is going to Spain in August to walk the Camino, northern route.He has never done anything like this before and thinks he can wing it:) and maybe he can, I dont really know.
My motherly instinct took over and have been doing research on gear etc.I used youtube alot to find what people had to say about certain items.
I was in youtube and typed in ‘lightweight backpacking” (after listeneing to many other videos indicating that lightweight is the way to go) and your video came up.
I really liked the video because it was professional and youthful and seemed honest.I just had a good feeling that I would find a lot of valuable tips and information. That’s why I purchased your series.
I left it downloading this morning and came to work, so I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet. I will be doing so over the weekend.
I’m really excited to sit down with it.
I am sure it took a great deal of hands on experience to put this information together……trial and error………so thank you for sharing it for such a low cost.
I will let you know what I think.
