REI Quarter Dome Tents – 30% Off

The REI Quarter Dome Tent (offered in 1P2P, and 3P models) is an affordable and reliable lightweight backpacking tent. For ultralight backpackers, REI also offers the SL version of this tent, which saves weight with its semi-freestanding design. It’s not necessarily our go-to backpacking tent, but it’s still a solid choice and makes our list of the Best Lightweight Backpacking Tents

Patagonia Nano Puff Jackets – 30% Off

Great for 3-season adventures, but also stylish enough to wear around town, Patagonia’s Nano Puff Jacket (men’s and women’s) is one of our gear staples. It’s featherlight, comfortable, and highly compressible. What sets this jacket apart is the synthetic PrimaLoft Insulation, which helps retain heat better than down in wet conditions and costs less too. It’s also made with 70% recycled materials, which we love! Another favorite, the Micro Puff Insulated Hoodie, is also on sale.

REI Co-op Flash 55 Backpacks – 30% Off

The REI Co-op Flash 55 (men’s & women’s) is an affordable option for hikers looking to keep their pack weight down. It has all the features you’d want in a lightweight pack including a comfy hip belt, foam back panel, and removable top lid. One of our favorite features of this pack is what REI refers to as Packmod – the straps and pockets can be reconfigured into a whole bunch of combinations. It’s a great lightweight option at a budget price and makes our list of Best Lightweight Backpacks.

Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL2 and UL3 Tent

Big Agnes’ Tiger Wall UL2 & UL3 tents deliver a lot of interior space in an ultralight package. The Tiger Wall is a combination of two popular BA tents, with a shape that’s similar to the Copper Spur, but much lighter, and a pole structure that’s similar to the Fly Creek, but with more interior space. Its semi-freestanding design requires you to stake out the foot of the tent for a full pitch. That said, for a few small drawbacks, the Tiger Wall has a lot to love for ultralight backpackers and is on our Best Tents list.

REI Co-op Igneo and Joule Sleeping Bags – 30% Off

The Joule 21 (women’s) and Igneo 17 (men’s) sleeping bags from REI are great options for those in need of quality comfort at an excellent price point. While not the lightest or most compressible option on this list, the quality, comfort, and warmth of these bags make them a great value option for backpackers on a tighter budget. Both of these bags makes are Best Sleeping Bags list for affordable warmth and comfort.

NEMO Dagger 2P and 3P tent

The NEMO Dagger 2P and 3P tents are big on livability, but don’t take on too much weight to get there. The Dagger has two huge vestibules with lots of room for gear storage. Our main qualm with the Dagger is that we wish it had more ventilation for condensation management, but it’s not a dealbreaker. So if you’re looking for lightweight livability in a convenient design, the NEMO Dagger 2p and 3P are great options and make our Best Backpacking Tents list.

Atlas and Tubbs Snowshoes – 20% Off

Snowshoeing season has arrived in many parts of the country and its time for outdoor enthusiasts to trade in their trail runners for a pair of quality snowshoes. All Atlas and Tubbs snowshoes are on sale and they’re are a range of options from budget to fully-featured. Some of our favorites are the Atlas Montane and the Tubbs Mountaineers.

Arc’teryx Zeta SL Rain Jacket- 25% Off

New to Arc’teryx in 2019, the Zeta SL rain jacket (men’s & women’s), is an excellent balance between quality, durability, and weight. The highly packable and versatile design of the SL is a great option for hikers looking to push through wet weather in rugged conditions. The design of the Zeta SL smoothly incorporates lightweight minimalism with more traditional adjustability of a heavier jacket. If you’re looking for a nice mid-layer jacket, the popular Atom LT Hoodie is also on sale.

All Oboz Bridger & Sawtooth Footwear – 25% Off

When the temps drop, but you refuse to pack it in for winter, you’ll want a pair of insulated boots to keep you toasty warm and dry. Oboz Bridger Boots are a great option for winter hiking or strapping into your snowshoes. They offer waterproof warmth, comfort out of the box, and burly outsoles for traction in slippery conditions. Oboz Sawtooths, which are great hiking shoes for summer adventures, are also on sale. For more information on footwear, check out our Hiking Shoes & Boots Guide.

Osprey Exos & Eja Backpacks

The Osprey Exos 48 (men’s) and Eja 48 (women’s) are extremely comfortable, lightweight backpacks with great all-around value. The Exos and Eja have a sturdier frame than most lightweight packs, carry heavier loads comfortably, offer great back ventilation, and won’t break the bank either. Our biggest complaint with the updated model is the lack of hip belt pockets. That said, the Exos and Eja are still great packs and are featured on our Best Lightweight Backpacks list.

Patagonia Better Sweater Jackets- 30% Off

We love the versatility of Patagonia’s Better Sweater line and have been fans for years. They are stylish enough to wear around town and functional enough to wear as a layer for adventures. The material is comfortable against the skin and they are now made from 100% recycled polyester fleece, which we can definitely get behind. Their offered in full-zip and half-zip pullover styles.

All Salomon Footwear – 25% Off

Salomon has long been a trusted brand in outdoor footwear and for good reason. Though we often wear lightweight trail runners, when we opt for shoes or boots some of our favorites include the Salomon X Ultra 3 Low hiking shoes and the Salomon Quest 4D 3 GTX hiking boots. Both make our Best Hiking Shoes & Boots list.

Select Bogs Rainboots – 25% Off

We love Bogs rainboots, plain and simple. They’re well-designed, comfortable right out of the box, and great for stomping around Pacific Northwest rainy days. All Bogs Boots for Kids are on sale, as well as select styles for adults. We’re excited that two of our favorite styles – Bogs Bozeman and Bogs Amanda Plush Rainboots – are included in the discount. Grab a pair of puddle-jumpers and keep your tootsies warm and dry this winter!

All Petzl Headlamps – 25% Off

We trust Petzl since lighting is their forte and one of our favorite headlamps is the Petzl Actik CORE. It’s a user-friendly, hard-working headlamp with an included rechargeable battery. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Petzl Tikkina is a simple, long-lasting headlamp for an unbeatable price. If you just need a headlamp to meet basic needs, this is your guy. Both of these headlamps are featured on our Best Headlamps list.

All Smartwool Socks, Hats & Gloves – 30% Off

While it’s a great time to grab a new hat or pair of gloves while the season is upon us, we are most excited about the discount on their socks. Smartwool makes some of the best all-around socks for hiking and our favorites are the PhD Outdoor Light Crew Socks. They’re well-designed with a snug, anatomical fit and padding only where you need it underfoot for excellent breathability. The PhD’s make our list of Best Hiking Socks.

Columbia Minx Shorty III Snow Boots – 25% Off

We love the style and functionality of the Minx Shorty Winter Boots from Columbia. They are ready for burly winter conditions down to -25 degrees, but also cute enough to stroll into town after a day of adventure. They’re waterproof, comfortable right out of the box, and relatively lightweight for a winter boot.

Prana Halle and Brion Hiking Pants

Hiking pants can be frumpy – that’s just a fact. But Prana makes some hiking pants that are not only functional, but also stylish enough to wear around town. Our favorites from Prana – the men’s Brion and women’s Halle – are now on sale.

Kahtoola MICROspikes – 20% Off

You will almost always want to carry traction devices with you when hiking in the mountains over spring or fall snow patches. Kahtoola Microspikes are one of our favorite tools for adding traction on icy trails. They fit nearly any type of hiking footwear, even trail running shoes, and they’re tough enough to withstand years of heavy use.

Eureka Ignite 2-Burner Camp Stove

Looking to upgrade your car camping game? The portable and convenient Eureka Ignite 2-Burner Camp Stove will allow you to impress your friends and cook some gourmet meals around the campfire. We love its simmer control function for more precise cooking. The Eureka 2-Burner is a rugged and durable stove with an easy-to-use push button ignitor, all at an affordable price.

Yakima Racks, Roof Boxes, & Accessories – 20% Off

If you have a small vehicle, large family, or just generally travel gear-heavy, a roof box can be one of the best investments you’ll make. But investment is the right word – they aren’t cheap. This is why it’s a good time to snag one at a discount. We love the Yakima SkyBox 16 Carbonite Cargo Roof Box, which is spacious yet aerodynamic, easy-to-mount, and overall very convenient.
