Cherlyn is a Seattle-based alpinist who loves exploring the mountains through photography. Since discovering hiking as an adult, she is passionate about making the outdoors more accessible for all. She is an outdoor educator and helps others find confidence in hiking and backpacking. Cherlyn specializes in finding the best backcountry camp with rivaled front porch views. She is the “larch queen” of Washington, shedding light on lesser known trails during the famed golden larch season in October. Hiking has taken her to places like the New Zealand alps, the Dolomites, and all over the US National Parks.

When she isn’t outside in the wilderness, Cherlyn can be found baking up new recipes or dreaming up new travel itineraries.
