REI’s 4th of July sale runs from June 26 – July 6th. We scoured the deals and narrowed this list down to the gear we’re most excited about.

Big Agnes Copper Spur Tents & Footprints – 25% Off

Big Agnes Copper Spur Tents have an exceptional blend of weight, interior space, and functionality. They’re some of the lightest freestanding tents on the market, and they’ve remained at the top of our Best Backpacking Tents list for years. The Copper Spur comes in 1P, 2P, 3P & 4P sizes, all of which are great. We’re partial to the 2P & 3P models depending on how much interior space you want.

REI Co-op Brand Tents & Footprints – 30% Off

REI makes a lot of really great tents, and they’re all on sale. From the Grand Hut 4 for family camping to the Quarter Dome SL 2 for lightweight backpacking, you’re sure to find a shelter that suits your needs. TheCamp X ranks highly on our Best Camping Chairs lists The REI Camp Roll Table is also a great addition to your car camping setup.

Vasque Breeze Boots & Shoes – 25% Off

The Vasque Breeze AT Mid GTX (view women’s here) boots tick a lot of boxes for us. They’re comfy right out of the box, supportive, durable, and amazingly breathable for waterproof boots. These boots also come in the lighter weight LT model (view women’s here). We highly recommend the Low shoe version (view women’s here), as well. All of these shoes made our Best Hiking Boots for Men and Women and Best Hiking Shoes for Men and Women lists.

Hydro Flask Drinkware, Coolers & More – 25% Off

Hydro Flask is known for top-notch insulation, eye-catching color, and excellent accessories. We’ve used a bunch of different Hydro Flask products, and it’s hard to pick a favorite, but we’re particular fans of the 32 oz. Wide Mouth Insulated Bottle and the Lightweight Trail Series Bottles. Check out our Best Water Bottles list to see more about our favorite Hydro Flask bottles and accessories.

All Coleman Products – 25% Off

Coleman is a tried and true name in the camping world. They make far too many awesome things for us to name here, but some of our favorites include the Steel Belted Cooler, Triton 2-Burner Stove, and 360 Sound and Light Lantern.

REI Traverse 70 (men’s sizes) & 65 (women’s sizes) – 30% Off

All sizes of the REI Traverse packs are on sale, but our favorites are the men’s 70L and women’s 65L. These large-capacity packs are more affordable than other packs in this class, and we like the pocket organization. These packs aren’t our first choice, but they did earn a mention on our Best Backpacking Backpacks list because they’re a great value.

Marmot Trestles Elite Eco Sleeping Bags – 25% Off

All Marmot sleeping bags are on sale, but if you’re looking for an affordable sleeping bag that functions well for car camping trips or short backcountry jaunts, the Marmot Trestles Elite Eco is a great option. It’s heavier and bulkier than the bags we typically prefer to backpack with, but it’s a tough deal to beat, especially considering the extra discount. The Trestles is our favorite synthetic sleeping bag on our Best Sleeping Bags list.

Yakima & Thule Racks, Roof Boxes, & Accessories – 20% Off

If you have a small vehicle, large family, or just generally travel gear-heavy, a roof box can be one of the best investments you’ll make. But investment is the right word – they aren’t cheap. This is why it’s a good time to snag one at a discount. We love the Yakima SkyBox 16 Carbonite Cargo Roof Box, which is spacious yet aerodynamic, easy-to-mount, and overall very convenient.

All Smartwool Socks – 30% Off

If you hike as much as we do, you know how important it is to have quality socks. Smartwool socks are warm, well-made, durable, and have padding in all the right places to keep your feet happy. Our favorite model from our Best Hiking Socks Guide is the PhD Outdoor Light Crew

All REI Co-op Brand Socks – 30% Off

REI Co-op Lightweight Merino Wool Hiking Quarter Socks are our favorite from REI’s extensive lineup of socks. They’re affordable, warm, comfortable, and they’re made with a high percentage of quality wool that manages sweat and odor well. The Crew version is also very popular and offers protection up to mid-calf.

All Injinji Socks – 30% Off

Who doesn’t love a good toe sock? Injinji’s Run Lightweight socks are some of the most popular toe socks on the market because they’re highly-breathable and excellent for reducing friction between the toes. Injinji’s Trail Midweight Mini-Crew are also a great option if you’re looking for something a little warmer and more cushioned. Head over to our Best Hiking Socks list to learn more about our favorite Injinji socks.

All Ruffwear Products – 25% Off

Your four-legged buddy is just as eager as you are to hit the trail this summer, so now’s the perfect time to get them outfitted. Ruffwear makes tons of high-quality dog gear, but the absolute essentials include the Front Range Harness and Quencher Dog Bowls according to our CleverHiker spokesdog.

REI Co-op Traverse Trekking Poles – 30% Off

If you’ve been wanting to try out trekking poles for the first time, REI’s Traverse Poles are easy to use and are a great choice for beginners. These poles are a little on the heavy side, but the cork grips are comfy and the extra discount on top of the already great price makes them hard to pass up.
